課程概述	課程目標本課程之主旨在於分析理解法國大革命對西方近代歷史主義（historicism）興起後，政治哲學的轉變及其當代意涵，以黑格爾的歷史哲學與國家理論，和與青年馬克思的激進民主思想為主。著重於對民族主義、有機國家（organistic state）、以及社會革命（social revolution）等政治觀念的影響。指定教材包含政治思想史經典（Sieyès, Hegel, Marx）以及重要的二手詮釋參考。
課程目標	過研讀政治思想經典作品以及重要的二手詮釋，期望同學在閱讀以及課堂討論之中，建立自己的批判性觀點，並培養撰寫政治思想研究論文的能力與技巧。
課程要求	評分方式： 1) 閱讀教材，參與討論。 2) 輪流報告教材內容，報告同學提交書面綱要，整理內容、提出問題。 3) 期末報告擬撰寫學期報告題目、文獻、主要論旨（需準備綱要�10分鐘） 4) 就本學期授課內容撰寫學期報告一篇（5000字左右），於8/31前email寄給老師。
